China says hopes WikiLeaks will not affect U.S. ties

BEIJING Dec 7 (Reuters) - China said on Tuesday that it hoped revelations in U.S. diplomatic cables released by  WikiLeaks would not affect ties with Washington.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu made the comments at a regular news conference.
Among the leaked cables are one in which an unnamed Chinese contact alleged that China's Politburo directed an intrusion into Google Inc's GOOG.N computer systems. (Reporting by Sui-Lee Wee and Sabrina Mao; Writing by Ben Blanchard; Editing by Ken Wills)
